So, love 'em or hate 'em - Attila are back with new music! The divisive metalcore outfit haven't dropped tunes since their 2021 record Closure including singles like 'Clarity', 'Metalcore Mansion' and 'Day Drinking'. Since then, the band have undergone multiple tours and frontman Chris 'Fronz' Fronzak even dabbled in The Big Six deathcore project for a little before hitting the eject button due to other priorities.
Nonetheless, a brand new Attila track has surfaced and landed on digital streaming platforms. The song is called 'Handshakes With Snakes' and appears to be one of their heavier tunes and is another blink-or-you'll-miss-it track, spanning less than two-minutes.
With strong drums leading in, Fronz jumps in alternating between his uncleans and spoken-word rap style. However, it has a really fast pace and heavy high energy which deepens as the track goes on, quite familiar to About That Life and Guilty Pleasure which is exciting to hear. Would certainly be a welcome a return-to-roots sound from Attila and would not be upset if they continue on with this particular style from a decade or so ago.
