Introducing: CABAL, With Danish Deathcore Single 'Magno Interitus' feat. Joe Bad

I'm pleased to introduce you to your next favourite deathcore/death metal band, well at least your favourite from Denmark. Obviously, the Scandinavian corner of the world is renowned for some of the darkest and heaviest metal out there. Reigning from Copenhagen is an emerging outfit known as CABAL. Currently signed to Nuclear Blast, CABAL soared into the European scene with debut record Mark of Rot in 2018 and followed it up with sophomore LP Drag Me Down in 2020, some of which included guest features from the likes of Trivium's Matt Heafy and Polaris' Jamie Hails.
Last year, the Danes dropped a raft of new singles, including 'Innocent Blood', featuring slam band Ingested's Jason Evans as well as 'Red Eye'. Now, CABAL have shared a new single titled 'Magno Interitus'. The track features Fit For An Autopsy's Joe Badolato (Joe Bad for short), who also recently featured on Distinguisher's single 'Open Letter'.
Like much of CABAL's evolving back catalogue, they emit significant Thy Art Is Murder influences, where they fuse traditional death metal elements with contemporary deathcore styles, without leaning too much on either side. 'Magno Interitus' is a blistering track that uses hard-stops and crushing continuations to accentuate pure power. FFAA's vocalist fits seamlessly on the song, adding to the non-stop carnage.
Here's what CABAL commented on the new single:
"'Magno Interitus' written while the pandemic was at its highest and everything seemed like it was going to collapse around us. Politicians still just serving their own best interests, peaceful protests having what are essentially war crimes committed against them, all while the impending threat of global destruction due to rapid climate changes, seems to be downplayed severely or outright ignored by those in power. The track is three and a half minutes of pure vitriol spewed in the face of those who dare to try and ignore the great decay that is happening right before our eyes and all around us. To really make the track stand out as much as possible we elicited the help from one of our favourite vocalists; Joe Bad of the amazing Fit For an Autopsy."
