Meet Music’s Newest Sensation, LØLØ in New Single ‘Junkie’

We’re beginning to lose count on the next generation of pop punkers that are appearing left, right and centre. Between JXDN, nothing, nowhere and Carolesdaughter, is it starting to get a little crowded up in here? Well, we think not, especially after listening to this upcoming lady. Canadian musician LØLØ first caught our attention earlier this year with her ultra-catchy emo anthem ‘Debbie Downer’ and she’s back with the feisty alt-pop hit, ‘Junkie’.

She kinda reminds us of an edgier Olivia Rodrigo. New single ‘Junkie’ teams together rock riffs with pop sensibility, fuelling all our 2000s nostalgia that doesn’t stray too far from Avril Lavigne. Mimicking elated feelings of love and lust through quirky metaphors, ‘Junkie’ sees LØLØ stepping up her game musically.

If you’re into keeping tabs on the next generation of alternative/pop, look no further — hook this into your emo veins stat!
