Semantics Have Announced Their Debut Album with New Single ‘Get in the Car’!

After getting a decent night of sleep on their last single, Brisbane’s Semantics are gearing up to release their debut album, Paint Me Blue on May 20 via SideOne Dummy Records. Such a cool feat for one of Queensland’s brightest upcomers right now!

To celebrate, the quartet have dropped their newest track ‘Get in the Car’, which sees the simmering rock act allow themselves to catch a breather before their first album comes around. Amongst their cruisey yet all too-vibrant energy, the song is a weekend anthem that forces you to take a break off of life and its stressors.

‘Get in the Car’ is just one of ten tracks that makes up Paint Me Blue. If we’re going off these titles and themes, Semantics is going to be the party that your anxious, depressed brain called for the night after a Dune Rats gig. We’re keen!
