Foo Fighters’ Bonkers Studio 666 Movie Trailer Has Arrived

Studio 666 review

UPDATE: It’s getting an Australian/New Zealand release for one week only! – more details to come

What do you do when you’re one of the greatest rock bands in the world? You make a movie of course! I mean, if Tenacious D can do it, then surely the Foo Fighters can and they’ve done just that with their forthcoming horror/comedy flick Studio 666 hitting cinemas this February (in the US only so far, booo).

The plot is centred around the lads making their tenth studio album in an abandoned haunted house when frontman Dave Grohl experiences writer’s block. Without giving too much away, he becomes possessed by a demonic entity and takes his frustrations out on the rest of the band in hilariously gory scenarios that look like B Grade horror with a touch of Venom (Tom Hardy) moments.

The film also features cameos from Kerry King (Slayer) and Lionel Richie so you know it’s going to be a bloody good time and you can expect their album to drop following the movie’s initial release (what a pre-release campaign though!!!)

Stop what you’re doing and watch the trailer below then keep your fingers crossed for some Australian screenings!
