PREMIERE: Wolf & Chain Assemble a Monster Mash in ‘An Unfortunate Tale of Two Lovers and an Insatiable Taste of Poison‘ Video

RADelaide’s emo-revivalists Wolf & Chain have delivered the goods with a new spooky music video for their latest single.

Much like My Chemical Romance and Panic at the Disco before them, the lads have gone down the path of those old school elongated song titles with the mouthful ‘An Unfortunate Tale of Two Lovers and an Insatiable Taste for Poison‘ being their latest offering taken from their newly announced, forthcoming EP Amor Mortal – set for release on October 29th.

It follows on from ‘Taste of Blood‘ which the band released back in August and according to frontman Jack Cumes it’s a continuation of the video from that release:

“The song was inspired by this idea I had of two ‘Bonnie and Clyde’- esque lovers on the run, who end up down this dark and weary path that not even their love can save them from. The track plays around with the themes of deadly love, as mentioned on our upcoming EP ‘Amor Mortal’. It takes a grim look at the fantasy of running away together and explores those feelings of obsession and losing yourself to something whether it be a person, a substance or an insatiable desire to drink blood. The video takes these themes and concepts and applies them to this fantastical vampiric universe we created in ‘Taste of Blood’.

Like whatcha hear, you know what to do!
