Guns N Roses Release Fine-Tuned ‘Hard Skool’ From Chinese Democracy Sessions

Guns N Roses

Last month after playing it live, the reunited Guns N Roses lineup released a studio version of ABSUЯD‘ in August and fans worldwide came together to bask in its Chinese Democracy glory. Well, it looks like Axl, Slash, Duff, Dizzy, Richard, Frank and Melissa have got more in store for us. The unreleased Chinese Democracy celebrations are continuing, as the almighty Guns N Roses have finally released ‘Hard Skool’ which the band have been teasing for a little while now.

Let’s face it, as exciting as it was to hear new music, vocally ‘ABSUЯD’ was vocally experimental and not exactly classic Axl. Whilst we’re incredibly giddy to consider the notion that the new-era Guns N Roses could dabble in different tones, fans have been waiting a long time to hear some new signature sounds. Notably, having Slash back in the studio is still a real high, like many Gunners fans no doubt. You can imagine how ‘Hard Skool’ originally would’ve sounded back in the Chinese Democracy days, but it’s now been modernised. Axl Rose is sounding mighty fine, his vocal range and hook alignment is right on-point, and will have you grinning from ear to ear.  The band embrace a total jam at the end, and will urge you to get that old Guns N Roses shirt out of storage.

It’s so awesome to see new studio music getting released by the Gunners, but time will tell as to whether we’ll get to hear some truly original new music from the band in the near future. So what do you think about Guns N Rosesnew song ‘Hard Skool’?
