Rolo Tomassi Are Back With Ferocious Song ‘Cloaked’

Rolo Tomassi

Rolo Tomassi are back in a big way! They’ve just announced signing to eOne Heavy and have released new music for the first time since their 2018 album Time Will Die and Love Will Bury it. Whilst the band haven’t announced a new record just yet, it seems like it’s certainly on the cards and hopefully imminent. Let’s check out ‘Cloaked’, the song coupled with an artsy music video.

The band have shown utter versatility across their discography, and are continuing with that approach on ‘Cloaked‘. The track is synth-heavy and has an ominous energy in it immediately. Vocalist Eva Korman blisters in her retching growls and contrasts it with the most delightful cleans ever – look out Courtney LaPlante. Although there’d be nothing to look out for as the female camaraderie is beautifully strong at the moment.  Anyway back to ‘Cloaked’ – there’s a really nice mid-section with an instrumental crescendo that withers down to a fade for Korman to return with her harmonious cleans. Definitely an exciting chapter ahead for Rolo Tomassi.
