Illenium Debuts New Song 'Paper Thin' feat. Tom DeLonge

What a day for collaborations so far... First we had MGK & Halsey, then came Amy Shark & Travis Barker and now we're showcasing DJ/Producer Illenium's new song 'Paper Thin' which features non-other than god himself, Mr Thomas DeLonge of Angels & Airwaves.

I know what you're thinking; "Browny this is a heavy music site, why are you talking about DJs..?" Well firstly, fuck you, I won't do what you tell me! Secondly, this isn't the first time we've covered Illenium's collaborations with bands we cover (remember this?), and Thirdly, this actually isn't Tom's first rodeo in EDM world!

True fans would know that AvA released an EP called Stomping The Phantom Brake Pedal which featured original tracks + a bunch of synth/EDM infused remixes of some of the band's previously released singles - case in point 'Surrender Remix' which changed the original from a stadium rock classic, to a dark and bassy dance floor bop (is that what EDM fans call bangers?)

As for the new song he features on, it oozes with DeLonge's sexy ass vocals and the EDM sound behind him isn't too bad to nod along to. It's kinda like that Marshmello song 'Rescue Me' with A Day To Remember (but better).
