Tapestry Release New Single ‘Never Felt the Same’

Former Darwin hardcore act Tapestry have only been heading in an upwards direction since departing the Territory for Melbourne. The five-piece scored a spot on Unify Gathering 2020 and have toured for our boys in Thornhill. They did have a tour set with Holding Absence (UK) however, due to COVID-19 concerns, that’s now been placed off the table for now. Never fear though, Tapestry have just dropped their brand new single ‘Never Felt the Same’.

New homes, new beginnings, it seems. The new song is just the beginning of a new chapter for the now Melbournites. ‘Never Felt the Same’ features quite the contrast between cleans and screams, and begins rather synth-ey.  It’s a nice touch though, and I love what they’ve brought to the table here. Vocalist Tom Devine-Harrison shares:

“‘Never Felt the Same’ is about someone breaking you to the point of not knowing if you’ll ever recover.”
