After sending tongues wagging with their last single ‘Endorphin‘, Japan’s very own Crossfaith are back with yet another ball-breaking release called ‘Digital Parasite‘ which crossed genres more than you’ve crossed state and territory borders these past few weeks!
When discussing the new trace, frontman Ken Koie revealed:
“I felt an explosion from the song and I knew the lyrics should be aggressive and offensive,” he starts, adding that the band looked toward “people selling their soul to get fame. We need to be honest to the music, to ourselves and to our audience but some people are happy to start cheating and I don’t care for it.”
The song also comes from the band’s forthcoming EP Species which is set for release via UNFD on May 22 (pre-orders are here)
The band have nailed each and every Australian visit, proving there’s something spectacular in the Japanese heavy music waters that needs to be seen to be believed, so stay tuned for more and get your fix below then revisit our look into Japan’s best bands getting around right now and discover something else you may have been missing right here
