Static-X Have A Release Date For New Album Project Regeneration

It’s been a hot minute since we last heard from the Static-X guys about their forthcoming album Project Regeneration which features the last vocal recordings of the late frontman Wayne Static. Well now, we finally have a release date to look forward to.

The band will drop the album on May 29th, 2020 and it will feature 12 brand new songs with the original lineup of consisting of Tony Campos, Ken Jay and Koichi Fukuda. Project Regeneration will also feature lead vocals by Wayne on nearly every track which is awesome. You can hear a taste of the new album below with a sample of the song ‘Hollow’ streaming for fans ahead of its actual release and it’s just like old school Static!

The original idea was to get a bunch of special guests in to fill out the songs, but in my opinion, having the original band and their actual singer’s vocals will make this something special for the fans.

If you missed it, we had bassist Tony Campos join our podcast to chat all about their world tour and the new album’s conception and the making of process. Revisit that chat right here
