Alien Weaponry Release New Single 'Blinded'

Back in May, the Alien Weaponry lads released a single called 'Ahi Kā' which the theme of surrounded the New Zealand government's attempts to "beautify" the city of Auckland by evicting the locals Ngāti Whātua people from their home in Ōkahu Bay and burning it to the ground. A brutal history lesson with a heavy metal soundtrack behind it and now they've released their next offering 'Blinded' which comes as a B-Side to that last release.
This time around, the guys have opted for a melodic English sung track that still packs a huge punch to the jugular with lyrics they're hoping fans will interpret as their own and form their own connection to it according to frontman Lewis de Jong:
“The song has very personal meaning for me, but we wanted the video to leave things more open, so people can interpret it their own way. Piotr and Dwayne have really captured the notion of altered realities that we were going for, and we hope people will find their own messages in the images and the music.”
