Bring Me The Horizon Drop Cover Of ANOHNI’s ‘Drone Bomb Me’ For Spotify

Much like how Architects covered Deftones at Abbey Road for Spotify (revisit it here), Bring Me The Horizon have released their own cover of the Anohni track ‘Drone Bomb Me‘ for Spotify, recorded at their NYC studios.

To get you up to speed, Anohni is a transgendered UK born singer/composer who was the former vocalist for the band Antony and the Johnsons. She’s since gone solo and release an EP and an album called Hopelessness which is where ‘Drone Bomb Me‘ originally comes from. The music video also featured infamous model Naomi Campbell.

The style in which BMTH have covered this one is similar to that of the more EDM tracks from their latest offering amo (more notable ‘why you gotta kick me when i’m down?‘) with plenty of synth and electronic drums. If you enjoyed that side of the band’s music, this will be right up your alley. If not, maybe stay away.
