The Amity Affliction drop New Single/Misery Saga Part 3 video for ‘D.I.E.’

Their new album Misery came out on Friday (our review here) and The Amity Affliction have just released the next single from it ‘D.I.E.‘, which also marks the third and final installment of their Joel Birch penned Misery Saga via the song’s music video.

Part 1 ‘Ivy (Doomsday)‘ saw the band formulating a plan to rob a bank to seek revenge for some heinous crimes the manager committed. Part 2 ‘Feels Like I’m Dying‘ had the band carrying out the crime which (SPOILER ALERT) resulted in guitarist Dan Brown‘s character getting shot and the trio kidnapping the band manager. Part 3 sees the results of the crime and the fate of the band decided. I’ll come back to edit this part later in the week for those who want to watch the outcome for themselves #FuckSpoilers

What were your thoughts on the album? Any stand out tracks you’re hoping get released as singles next?

Also, you can hear frontman Joel Birch chatting about the band’s new sound and direction, how he came up with the idea for the Misery Saga + details on the BIG Aussie Tour they’re planning for 2019 in Epsiode #52 of our Wall of Sound: Up Against The Wall podcast series right here.
