Here’s your first taste of Jonathan Davis’ new solo material
If you didn’t know it yet, KoЯn frontman Jonathan Davis has a solo album on the way which he’s been working on for a few years now and we finally get our first taste of he’s been working on, in the form of first single ‘What It Is‘ and can we just say, it’s a hauntingly, exceptional ballad that sounds nothing like his work in KoЯn.
The song is also featured in the new Andy Black (Black Veil Brides) movie American Satan which is pretty much about a band who sell their souls to the devil in order to become famous and popular sensations overnight. The movie issnnnnn’t too bad, kinda/sorta but the real flaw of it is Andy not being able to sing on any of the songs throughout the movie, instead his character’s voice was dubbed due to issues with his record label.
No word yet on when his album will be released but we’ll grill him about it when KoЯn Exclusively plays Australia’s first ever Download Festival in Melbourne on March 24th.
