When he's not tearing up the stages with Architects, the iconic Josh Middleton fronts his own metal project Sylosis... but you already knew that if you're here!
The Nuclear Blast band have returned with their first taste of new music in 2023 titled 'Deadwood' which is a fierce assault of the senses with plenty of chuggy riffs, screams and a sound akin to that of Slipknot meets Trivium - but in their own special way. The song is powerful and will be a surefire hit with metal fans, or 'Tects fans who crave a little more oomph!
On the new song and Sylosis itself, Josh says
"We’ve never pushed so hard to create something as special as this new music! Deadwood is the first taste of what is to be a very busy year of new Sylosis music… Our focus is to write the best modern metal and it’s very exciting to see a new scene of metal fans and bands emerging for us all to keep developing and growing!"
