Swedish metal legends Sabaton have announced their return to Australian shores with special guests Amaranthe. They’ve lined up five dates in Australia starting in Perth on September 1st and will pop over to Auckland too.

We last saw the historically minded band here for Good Things Festival 2022, where their infectious anthems converted many to their cause. The headline sets should help them reach into their back catalogue, which includes their ANZAC ode ‘Cliffs of Gallipoli’, and play songs like the brand new anthem ‘Templars’. They’ve just signed with Better Noise Music and we may get more new music between now and September.

Amaranthe are no small guests either. They’ve developed a cult following with their blend of djent, pop rock synths and their triple vocalists. Their 2024 album The Catalyst is an eclectic mix of sub genres and their performance will set the scene for the bombastic headliners.
