Ahead of their forthcoming release Cutting the Throat of God, New Zealand's premier avante-garde/experimental extreme metal act Ulcerate have dropped the details of their first dates of the year. Hitting up their homeland for two gigs, and then three more across the East Coast of Australia, the 'Starved Of The World' tour sees the long-running technical and atmospheric geniuses playing some of the biggest headline shows to date.Armed with a sound that is a sonic vortex of the most dissonant and visceral elements of black and death metal, Ulcerate's racket has slowly evolved over the years to feature more prominent atmospheric elements and even darkly melodic aspects.
