Prog-metalcore legends, Jinjer, have announced their return to Australia. Having last been here with Good Things Festival back in 2022, they’re coming back in February 2025 to headline their biggest venues yet.
The Ukrainians have been relentlessly touring but have found time to record new music. They’ve already dropped the melodic masterpiece ‘Someone’s Daughter’ and the hardcore bruiser ‘Rogue’. Recent sets have included both songs plus the old stuff we love including ‘Pieces’ to ‘I Speak Astronomy’ and ‘Vortex’.
Joining Jinjer will be 2024’s comeback queens, Kittie. It’s their first visit here since 2012 and they’ll be bringing old school hits like ‘Charlotte’ and ‘Brackish’, plus fresh tunes from their great new album, Fire. Led by sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander, the band are known for their groove riffs and big hooks.
It’s a hell of a bill and the five shows are going to be hot tickets next summer.
