Purveyors of fine metal instruments, Jackson Guitars seem to be on an endless quest to drop jaws (and deplete bank accounts) of heavy music enthusiasts everywhere. Their new 2024 Limited Edition Concept Series sees the addition of four fantastic, diverse models to the quickly expanding Concept Series line. With a clear focus on giving the player the most complete out-of-the-box experience possible, Jackson has teamed up with some of the best hardware and pickup companies in the game to deliver a range of killer guitars with maxed-out stats.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOz1TgjGzNAWhile the sleek black new models are a mixed bag of awesome upgrades and hardware, they do feature the same top-end specs in the neck department; jumbo stainless steel frets, Luminlay side dots, ebony fretboards, and the same comfortable 12" to 16" compound radius. With each new axe in the Concept Series boasting its own unique measurements, pickups, and high-end parts, let's have a quick look under the hood of these metal machines;

Equal part classy and dangerous, The RR 24 FR H is a modern - yet subtle - take on one of Jackson's most iconic, flagship instruments. The alder-body axe packs a single EMG 81 pickup in the bridge with the EMG AB after-burner push-pull pot (for 20db gain), while the Floyd Rose 1000 double locking term can take any whammy bar abuse you throw at it. Plus, aesthetically speaking, white trim combined with gold hardware makes this one distinguished gentleman.

With striking yellow features, Floyd Rose 1000 Series and a classic reverse headstock, the snarling Soloist SL27 EX is the Concept Series' shred machine; born and bred to go fast. Housing 27 frets for ultimate lead playing, the deep neck carve makes hitting the extra high notes a breeze - while the Seymour Duncan pickup combo of a Distortion in the bridge and a Hot Rail in the neck is perfect for screaming licks, smooth legato, and aggressive rhythm playing.

The biggest boy of the quartet, the 8-string DK Modern MDK HT8 MS is even more of a behemoth than its name. The multiscale 25.5”- 27.5” neck means this basswood beast begs to be tuned to F# and below, whilst also featuring some of the best parts in the business with Fishman Fluence Modern pickups, a Hipshot bridge, and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut. Time to get low and slow.

The deadly King Kelly might be the most striking design of the bunch; the offset, angular shape makes this one violent, weaponised six-string. Also packing a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo system, the King Kelly comes with a pair of biting Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups and rock-solid Gotoh tuners. This monster undoubtedly has extreme metal written all over it.With the modern player in mind, Jackson Guitars has done all the leg work here for you, with a vast array of the hottest aftermarket upgrades coming stock in these instruments. The guitars of the 2024 Limited Edition Concept Series are seriously specced out - did we mention limited!? Do not delay; visit your local Jackson dealer and/or Jackson online ASAP!
