In a year where Oasis were tipped to be the biggest reunion no one saw coming, over in metal world, an Australian 'core staple are set to tell the planet 'hold my beer, mate!'
I Killed The Prom Queen were scene kings, who singlehandedly brought metalcore to the masses in the early 2000s and assisted in the rise of Parkway Drive from their formative years to the metal titans they've become. And now the band are set to destroy your hearing once more as they announce a comeback with a purpose that's going to send shockwaves throughout the heavy scene - felt on a global scale.
Hot off his surprise cameo at Parkway's 20th Anniversary tour, frontman Michael Crafter will once again step up to the mic to revive Prom Queen for their 25th Anniversary alongside OG members Jona Weinhofen, JJ Peters and Kevin Cameron. The lads will play a string of shows in honour of their fallen bandmate, the late Sean Kennedy keeping both his, and the band's legacy alive as they revisit tracks from the first decade of music which made them a household name. And for an extra bit of spice one-time vocalist Jamie Hope will also join the tour.
But what's an epic comeback without supports to match?
Joining the newly reunited metalcore greats will be Emmure, To The Grave and Threshold, all of which will guarantee the destruction of venues and body parts around the country. Make sure to book in for your chiro sessions in advance.
