Diesect Enlist Synth-Queen Misstiq for 'MORTAL SKIN' - Taken From New SHADOWS FOLLOW EP
With the Aussie scene on fire at the moment, attention is turning to the next generation of heavy bands who are paving their own way through the industry and Diesect are one we've had our eyes on for a while now.
The Gold Coast foursome have today unveiled their new EP SHADOWS FOLLOW - a four-track offering showing their progression and innovation with the inclusion of Earth Caller/Synth Queen Misstiq on the track 'MORTAL SKIN' which is nothing short of awe-inspiring!
Misstiq's orchestra/synth addition gives the song some additional layering and the wow factor takes the boys from a local group to a promising newcomer to watch (you know, what we've been saying since 2021). The guitar work is their best yet, and frontman Damien Bigara's screams are fuller, heavier and chunkier while the drum action keeps the BPMs up. Once that breakdown hits, expect chaos at their upcoming shows towards the end of the month.
A new dawn has arrived with Diesect grasping for the scene crown and you know what, we're not getting in their way.
