Clawing their way through manic highs and depressive lows, Connecticut war-machine Boundaries has returned, flexing heavy-weight punching power on the burning new track, ‘Bedlam.’ Full of fire and fury, this spring cut is sure to leave the audience tasting blood!

From 2017 onwards, this five-piece has breezed through the heavy ranks, rocking around the globe with the likes of Knocked Loose, Lorna Shore, Suicide Silence. Wielding a modern, refined voice responsible for bullying any sense of melody or forgiveness from the metalcore genre, these Hartford County heathens bubble with the same rage as Lotus Eater, Left Behind, and other corrosive contemporaries.

On ‘Boundaries’ first release since 2022’s expansive full-length, Burying Brightness, these musicians stray very little from the ‘tried and true’ formula behind their sordid sound, a defining edge of the past five, furious years: adding just a ‘pinch’ of technicality to the flavours of beatdown, this quintet curates a violent vacuum–a soundscape where the relentless hammering of distorted guitar collides with vocalist Matt McDougal, resulting in utter chaos! As the tune races between pockets of panic and nail-gun breakdowns, the familiar sounds of flying dissonance, slamming, quarter-note riffs, and drummer Kevin Stevens’ constant, open snare–lead the listener to a sudden end– rivalled only by Bedlam’s jarring, brutal beginning!
