Aussie Deathcore Giants Thy Art Is Murder are currently tearing up the states right now and frontman CJ McMahon has had to leave the tour early to make it back to Australia to meet his new baby! The band released a statement about the news and his replacement saying:
Bad news first: tomorrow nights Philly show will be CJ’s last show with us for our current tour with Architects.
Now for the good news: HIS BABY IS ON THE WAY!
We had all hoped he would be able to finish the last week of the tour with us but he has to make it home now as the docs have said that the baby could come as early as next week. We wish him and his wife all the best and cannot wait to meet the little prince of darkness.
Further to this, as master planners for all contingencies, we reached out ahead of time to our old friend Nicholas Arthur (Molotov Solution) to see if he would be prepared to step in for CJ should the pregnancy speed up, and he will gladly be filling in for the remaining dates. We would like to extend our immense gratitude and love to him for helping us and CJ out for the next week of shows.
We understand that this may upset some of you, but family comes first and we hope you can send all your best wishes and love to CJ and his family in these exciting (albeit nervous) times.

That's more than enough reason to head off and bravo to Nicholas Arthur for jumping in to take the reigns in his absence. This news surely won't affect their upcoming Australian shows which has just seen Sydney sell out. Get keen and get tickets so Papa CJ can feed his family...
