I am in total awe.

Last year, Bring Me The Horizon headlined Australia's Good Things Festival with an impressive LED display and a stack of songs that got fans moving (despite sound issues). However, at Download Festival just now - where they are sharing headliner duties alongside Metallica and Slipknot - they not only levelled the absolute fuck up, but they may possibly have just produced the BEST set of the festival... early call, but holy shit that was gigantic.

The LED screens were back and we caught a glimpse of Eve 2.0 (named Eve-L) which looks to set up the band's next phase of their POST HUMAN release series, which has just been announced as POST HUMAN: 𝙉𝙚𝙓 𝙂𝙀𝙣 - set for release on September 15th (pre-order here)

The boys have released three tracks, including ‘LosT‘, ‘sTrAnGeRs‘ and fresh heavy hitter 'AmEN!' which was the first song they played during their Download headliner - more on that soon...

This set though, between the pyrotechnics (that caused the local airport at East Midlands to pause incoming flights due to the severity, through to the guest appearances from Nova Twins for '1x1' and the iconic Amy Lee - for a snippet of 'One Day The Only Butterflies Left Will Be In Your Chest As You March Towards Your Death', transitioning into 'Nihilist Blues', all the way through to their career spanning setlist opening with 'AmEN!' and powering through 'Teardrops', 'The House of Wolves', 'DearDiary', and 'Shadow Moses', before climaxing with 'Follow You', Drown', 'Throne' and 'Can You Feel My Heart'.

Stay tuned for more in our Download Festival Day Two recap once we awake on this side of the world, but until then, suss out the first seven minutes of their set below because I never thought I'd say this, but BMTH 1000% overshadowed Metallica last night with what I'm labelling the BEST show I've ever seen. No contest.
