Cast your minds back to July 1st in 2018 - Wollongong hometown heroes Graves played their last show before disbanding and leaving a six-foot deep hole in Australia's heavy music community.The metalcore staples rounded up their time with the highly acclaimed 2016 album Monster and 2013 EP Pestilence, alongside a stack of memorable (for some) tours and shows supporting the likes of Suicide Silence, Thy Art Is Murder, Chelsea Grin, Parkway Drive, Northlane and Confession + headlining shows where Aussie scene staples like Polaris, Void Of Vision, AlphaWolf and Justice For The Damned were just starting to cut their teeth.[caption id="attachment_178956" align="aligncenter" width="647"]

Graves will be headlining throughout May/June with the likes of Starve and Sedative joining in on festivities which will find the bands hitting the stage in Brisbane on May 23rd and stopping into Newcastle, Sydney, RADelaide, Melbourne and The Gong before wrapping up festivities in Perth on June 21st.Tim Knowles from ObsoleteMusic is rapt on the comeback and turns out it wasn't too hard to get the boys on board.

The power of persistence! It's sure to be a night of nostalgic throwdown and plenty of gang vox to get all up and involved with. In terms of what to expect, the band shared with us.
“Expect your favourite tracks. A few from Pestilence (including something that hasn’t been played since the EP debut era), and many from Monster like 'Ratface' and '506'. Oh, expect to hear some new sounds as well.. see you there!”
