Astrodeath are, hands down, one of the best live bands that Australia has to offer. Now after a massive few years releasing two incredible albums and solidifying themselves as one of the Australian underground’s most revered heavy bands, Astrodeath are primed, loaded, and ready to blast off on their INTERGALACTIC RIPSTATION TOUR starting this Thursday on The Gold Coast.The monstrous, sci-fi, stoner metal duo have toured relentlessly since 2019. On their quest to bring sonic mayhem to audiences all over Australia, Astrodeath have made appearances at events such as Thrashville, Blacken, Flippin' the Bird, Mojo Burning, Froth and Fury Festival and Aftermath, as well as supporting bands such as Orange Goblin, Suicidal Tendencies, 1000mods, Nick Oliveri and King Parrot.The Astrodeath lads are also excited to bring Melbourne touring partner Spacejunk along for the ride, smashing out 12 shows up and down the East Coast starting this week.
“We’re coming back around again and we’re bringing our new buddies Spacejunk along for the ride. We know the cost of living is stupid right now, so we’ve made a decision to make these shows as cheap as we possibly can. We’re playing a lot of regional towns and a lot of smaller venues on this run so get your tickets early.”
Get in now before global domination occurs. After having signed with Europe’s leading boutique stoner label Heavy Psych Sounds, a tour to the continent is slated for 2025. A further journey to the US for more festivals and touring is already in the works, with the band signing on with North American touring giants Tone Deaf Touring. But it’s the local contingent of fans that have helped bring the duo to the forefront of the Aussie underground.
