Asking Alexandria Founding Member Ben Bruce Amicably Departs Band

Asking Alexandria guitarist Ben Bruce has shared some big news on social media. The long-time guitarist has decided to part ways with Asking Alexandria after eighteen years of being the bands lead guitarist and backing vocalist. As a founding member of the group, Bruce has played pivotal roles in the group's success throughout every era of their career, all the way from the group's 'crab core' phase, through their metalcore days and into the groups current alternative rock sound.

Bruce has shared that while his journey as a full-time musician has been absolutely incredible, his desire to spend the rest of his days focusing on directing his attention towards his family has only grown in recent years. The demanding lifestyle of being a worldwide touring musician means that he would have to miss many more important moments in his children's lives if he we're to continue on his journey as a touring musician in Asking Alexandria.

There's no doubt that Bruce's absence will be felt as Asking Alexandria continues on without him, his impact on the bands success has been infinitely significant and his legacy as a musician will live on forever. As much as he will be missed by fans across the globe, his decision to focus on his role as a father is extremely commendable.
