And we're back with another WTF? moment of the week, this time from Static-X who just announced they have a brand fucking new album on the way called Project Regeneration which will feature the original lineup of bassist Tony Campos, drummer Ken Jay and guitarist Koichi Fukuda and a whole stack of special guests + the big one, previously unreleased vocal performances and compositions from Wayne Static prior to his passing in 2014 including a new song called 'Hollow' which sits amongst 11 or 14 other tracks they have in line.

Announced via a teaser video, the release is set to not only be a memorial tribute to Wayne, but will also be released to mark the 20th Anniversary of the band's debut album Wisconsin Death Trip with Anniversary Tour plans in place for fans to catch the band once again. The album is also set to have guest vocals for unfinished songs, which they're hoping to receive from David Draiman (Disturbed), Ivan Moody (Five Finger Death Punch), Al Jourgensen (Ministry), Dez Fafara (Coal Chamber/DevilDriver), Edsel (Dope), Burton C. Bell (Fear Factory) and more...

If this sounds like something you'd down for, you can pre-order now here and also get your name in the liner notes. There's also a whole bunch of merch packages too for serious fans. Tony stated the only way a world tour will happen (with Aussie dates included) will be if fans get involved, the more that do, the more chances of that tour going further.
