WAAX debuted a new song at last night's VB Hard Yards show in Brisbane

The VB Hard Yards Tour rolled like a tinnie into Brisbane last night featuring competition winners Being Jane Lane, Paper Thin and Claws & Organs showcasing their upcoming talent for the many fans who ventured out on a school night, but the even bigger drawcard of the night (apart from $5 VB Tinnies yewww) were locals WAAX who took to the stage late in the night for one of their most intimate shows of late.

The band played through a stack of fan favourites like 'Same, Same', 'This Everything' and latest single 'Labrador' but, they also played a couple of new tracks, including one that's yet to be named, and currently has the working title of 'Fuck You' which comes from their debut album that is set for release in early 2019. The banter between frontwoman Maz Devita and guitarist/shred-master Chris Antolak hinted that they're not completely sold on the name yet and even took suggestions from the crowd who dubbed it 'Rack Off Moll' in honour of the Amyl and the Sniffers song 'Mole (Sniff Sniff)'.

Either way, the song rips and you can check it out below. HUUUGE thanks to the Deathproof PR team for a fantastic evening. There wasn't a single person who left without a smile on their face and for the bands who scored a slot on the fully funded East Coast tour, they appreciated all the new (and existing) fans who stopped them to say hey or "great set". There's a podcast with the BJL girls coming, once this hangover subsides...
