twenty one pilots are flying back into Australia with a new album under their wing

Yesterday we teased that something big was coming from twenty one pilots as clues and hints were dropped left right and centre from the dynamic duo made up of Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph and now it's all fallen into place. The band is back with a brand new album called Trench which will get it's release on October 5th via Fueled by Ramen.

The boys have also released two brand spankin' new songs the first of which is 'Nico And the Niners' a slow-paced, bass filled track full of melodic singing and the band's genre crossing orgy of sounds.

The second track 'Jumpsuit' scored the music video and within seconds of the song starting up, it had elements of another duo act who have been killing it as well, Royal Blood. There's not much you can do with just two members in a band, but when you find a formula that works, you absolutely hone in on it.

You can also catch the band when they make it back to Australia for a cross-crountry tour which kicks off in Perth on December 7th. Tickets available Friday, July 20th at 10AM via Live Nation. Pre-Sale also happening from Wednesday 18th July.
