We're days away from Invasion Fest's triumphant return to Australia and we are keen as fuck to get along, however, it seems Australia is still hurting from our catastrophic bushfires and The Red Shore have unfortunately announced they'll be a man down this weekend at their reunion set because of them.

In a lengthy post, the band revealed frontman Chase Butler willnot be able to make the show as he's still fighting them close to home, however Luke Frizon from Jack The Stripper will jump in, in his place:

Due to the current situation with the fires, unfortunately Chase will be unable to perform with The Red Shore at Invasion Festival. We are extremely sorry about this but would like to announce that we are still playing the show, giving this 100% and are pleased to have our dear friend Luke Frizon stepping up to take over vocal duties. We ask for your understanding throughout this difficult situation as Chase will be fighting the fires. We wish him the best and hope for his safety along with all of the other brave people putting their lives on the line for us and this country.

Below is a statement from Chase.

“As all of Australia and most of the world know, there is a nation crisis with bushfires the likes this country has never seen before. As a current active service member of defence and with the current situation, myself along with thousands of other members of defence have been called to assist with the current bushfires, emergency services, communities and people affected. It is with my sincerest apologies that I will not be able to play alongside my friends in The Red Shore for Invasion Fest. To the people that were coming out to see us I’m so sorry and I can only hope that you understand. Keep the people affected by all of this in your thoughts, donate where you can and thank you.

Chase.”

We look forward to seeing you all at Invasion Fest.

We wish Chase nothing but the best during this rough time. Get there and show the boys your biggest support.
