The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Release New Single 'Brace Yourself'

They may have had to postpone their forthcoming Australian tour with Boys Like Girls which was due to kick off next month, but with the COVID-19 pandemic, things have had to inevitably be rearranged. 2000's emo outfit The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have now released a brand new single titled 'Brace Yourself' and not going to lie, this is the first time I have managed to enjoy a Red Jumpsuit song since their 2006 debut album Don't You Fake It. The new track features metalcore-fuelled riffs with an exciting, pummelling guitar solo accompanied by emotionally-charged lyrics sung beautifully by vocalist Ronnie Winter-Defoe. The band have released a lyric video which visually depict the current state of the world perfectly:
“There’s no doubt about synergy with the lyrics of this song and current events. Many people are still in denial of the current Global Pandemic and we implore them to follow instructions on social space and personal safety measures. With some celebrities making fun of the pandemic on social media we thought it was important to go the other way. Do what you can however you can. Help someone...”
After this track and previously released track, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus' forthcoming The Emergency EP is looking quite promising! Stay tuned for a release date to be announced soon...
