Take a listen to Brendon Urie's metal version of a Panic! At The Disco song

We know Brendon Urie aka Mr Panic! At The Disco is a man of many talents. Incredible frontman with an amazing vocal range, amazing Broadway star, hot AF role model.... yep, we back that. But did you know back in 2010 he jokingly recorded a heavy metal version of PATD's song 'The Calendar' from the album Vices & Virtues, the same album which spawned the singles 'The Ballad of Mona Lisa' and 'Ready to Go (Get Me Out of My Mind)'!?

During a recent Twitch session, he finally played the song for fans watching who have been caught up in the "should they do a metal album next or not?" debate after Brendon revealed in a recent interview with Rock Sound that he'd consider doing a metal project when he first revealed the song's existence:
"I want to do a metal project in particular. I actually just played something for my band mates recently - we have an old song called ‘The Calendar’ and I made a metal version of it from years back. It’s like 90 seconds long and is really fun."
Not gonna lie, having seen Brendon in concert many times and knowing the vocal range he has, this should be a no-brainer. Panic's style changes with every album and this could be another version of what he and his bandmates are capable of producing. It'll also prove just how talented this bloke really is. Even if it's an EP over an album and under a new name, I reckon he'd nail it.
Thoughts?
