Suss Out Jared Leto Playing Marvel's Morbius, The Living Vampire

When he's not fronting the now cash-grabbing 30 Seconds to Mars (see what I mean here) or bringing shame to Joker fans across the globe, Jared Leto acts and has done an alright job in the past (think Requiem for a Dream and Lord of War for example) but now he's jumped ship to Marvel (via Sony) and is set to take on the role of Morbius, the Living Vampire in their upcoming adaption of the anti-hero which is set in the same cinematic universe as Tom Holland's Spider-Man... ok, I'm only now just realising how much of a comic book geek I truly am, but hear me out.
Morbius first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man issue #101 and was spawned from a guy trying to cure a rare blood disease via radiation who, in turn, obtained abilities like Superhuman strength, speed, and durability, the ability to fly, hypnotism and an accelerated healing factor, but on the downside, he had to live via the consumption of human blood.

Anyway, now the movie adaption is on the way and upon first look, it kinda/sorta look okay to start with but being a teaser trailer, don't put all your eggs in one basket yet. For those of you who are Anti-Sony because the continuously cooked the Spider-Man movies (pre-Holland) never fear, as they've been working in conjunction with Marvel Studios to get it right and to be fair, their Venom movie wasn't half bad!
The plot goes:
One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.
So take a look at what Leto's been working on. It's definitely not going to be as shithouse as that last 30STM album and could potentially be his big break in the comic book movie business...
