Surprise! Korn & Yelawolf Take On 'The Devil Went Down To Georgia'

Did you ever think you'd see KoRn and Yelawolf taking on a country classic? Neither did I, but considering we're now past the halfway point of 2020, the world could throw us anything, and they've thrown us this interesting cover. The metalheads have teamed up with US rap artist Yelawolf and recreated the classic 'The Devil Went Down To Georgia'.

The guys have recorded this edition as a way of showing support for Awakening Youth, a non-profit organisation which empowers young people who have dealt with traumatic experiences in their lives. Right on, guys! If you'd like to donate to show your support, you can grab an exclusive KoRn x Awakening Youth patch here

Fellow metalheads DevilDriver released a covers album back in 2018 (our review here) and we wouldn't be opposed to hearing KoRn tackle more classic tracks like that. They've killed other covers in the past like 'Word Up' and 'Another Brick In The Wall' so we know all too well they're capable of nailing it!
