'Split Personality' is Hot Milk's New Single!

Hello, it's Hot Milk's biggest Australian supporter here, with her take on the band's brand new single 'Split Personality'. The alternative/emo pop outfit from Manchester are about to drop their sophomore EP, I Just Wanna Know What Happens When I’m Dead next Friday and this brand new release sounds like it's going to be the breakthrough the band have been working relentlessly towards.

'Split Personality' is hands down Hot Milk's heaviest single to date. Appearing as the final track on the EP, I feel like they're saving the best for last here. Sonically, the song meshes their explosive blend of emo pop with a jarring and surprising HEAVY twist at the end. Co-vocalist James Shaw finally breaks out the screams, brandishing a fresh post-hardcore edge to the band's infectious musical style.

While their earlier material may have been sitting on the poppier end of the spectrum, Hot Milk's releases this year have been an absolute breath of fresh air and showed us that they've taken some huge strides musically. Do not sleep on 'Split Personality' and get around 'I Think I Hate Myself' and 'I JUST WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I’M DEAD' if you haven't already. The EP is unleashed next Friday.
