Slowly Slowly's Long-Awaited 'Blueprint' Has Arrived

They've been tuning into their emotions lately, but Aussie alt/rockers Slowly Slowly are back with their biggest tune yet. 'Blueprint' sees the band honing in on their nostalgic pop punk influence, featuring a catchy as fuck chorus that will be stuck in your head for days.

Frontman Ben Stewart shares the story of how their latest anthem came about revealing it stemmed from a party he was at prior to COVID taking over the world:

"There was no awkward small talk, no drugs needed to stimulate conversation (granted there was booze), but I've got a feeling it was mostly the blistering loud music and the fact we hadn't all been together in so long. Honestly my house was destroyed the next day, but strangely it just reminded me of what it means to come home to something.

Throughout lockdown that feeling of elation completely faded into a distant memory. This song then became something we planned to release after the harshness of it all had blown over — a party track that could become somewhat of a "fist-in-the-air' moment after realising what we'd all been fighting for."

Great tune, boys! Slowly Slowly are at the top of their game these days, and going off 'Blueprint', the lads don't look like they're slowing down anytime soon.

I don't know about you but this kinda just makes me wanna turn this up loud in my car, roll the windows and head up the coast to catch Slowly Slowly at Big Pineapple Festival next weekend and their headline tour in June/July!
