Saosin reunite with original front-man Anthony Green, lose guitarist Justin Shekoski and tease 3rd LP

Californian post-hardcore group Saosin have had a pretty interesting couple of years since they last appeared in Australia alongside Story of the Year and Blessthefall where immediately after they kicked out Cove Reber due to his diminishing stage performance and vocal abilities (and so they were right to do, his performance during that tour was below expectation for fans and really out a dampener on their whole experience), but fast forward to 2015 and the guys started making waves again, due to the fact they had reunited with former front-man Anthony Green who appeared on the band's first release "Translating the Name" back in 2003.
Well news out today is the band have officially welcomed Anthony back in as their front-man and they're set to release a new album this year which according to him has changed the way the guys will make music together:
"Making this record was such a sentimental thing for me. You can literally hear us making amends with each other while lamenting on our experiences together. It was very healing and cathartic, and might be the heaviest thing I've been a part of since the first EP."
But it's not without a small minor hiccup in the works, original guitarist Justin Shekoski has parted ways with his band mates after 13 years. The group will continue as a four piece and have also signed to Epitaph Records, something tat has been in the works for a very long time according to bassist Chris Sorenson:
"We have known Brett Gurewitz/Epitaph was interested since our second show in 2003 but the timing wasn't right. I am stoked to see our almost 13 year courtship come full circle in 2016. It's great to be back, playing gigs, and writing the music we never had the chance to write from the beginning."
Check out the LP teaser below and keep your eyes peeled for one of the most anticipated releases of 2016 from these boys.
Until next time, rock the fuck out
