YEAH THE BONES!!! It's no secret we here at Wall of Sound have been frothing Sydney's Bare Bones since their debut album Bad Habits landed in our inbox and changed our lives forever (our review here), so you can imagine the look on our faces when they announced they'll be back with their second release  Rival Minds on November 1st via the absolute legends at Resist Records.

The lads are back with a brilliant new song called 'Rust' which according to frontman Tom Kennedy is about the three stages of life including the nostalgia of youth, the turmoil of adulthood, and the reality of death which was inspired by the one and only William Shakespeare:

"lyrically, Rust takes inspiration from Shakespeare’s concept "Seven Ages of Man", and casts a reflection on childhood memories from the contrasting perspective of adulthood, and projects to the final stages of life with the surrender of our corporeal form."

From the second this new song kicks off you're already in a state of panic with its fast punk sound, heavy riffs, sexy guitar solos and Tom's alluring screams bringing you in and giving you a huge warm hug, before setting you off into the world again to fuck shit up!

Over the past year alone, we've seen this band support the likes of Stone Sour, Rise Against, Prophets of Rage and Andrew W.K. and there's a reason why, they're just so fucking good, so we are foaming at the mouth to see what they bring to the table with this next album. Get keen fuckers, the BONES are BACK!
