Point North Make Their Voices Loud & Clear with 'Recover'

I haven't been totally sold on US alternative/rock trio Point North because with every new release I saw, it felt like there was something missing. However, all that is about to change with the band's politically-charged new single 'Recover'.

The boys are turning over a new leaf, with a stark and heavier new sound as they look to channel their angst at the current state of their homeland into their creativity. 'Recover' will knock you off your feet with its punchy, fiery dose of hard rock energy as the band act out and stand in solidarity with those against abortion rights in the US. The band share:

“We are angry. That’s the bottom line with our new song and sound. We are living in a time where rights are taken away, lives are not valued and our American reality is being shaped by people who do not care about us. This is our creative outlet and this is how we choose to use our voice. We want to inspire change, action and progress. “RECOVER” is only the beginning. No man has the right to tell a woman or person with a uterus what they can or cannot do with their body. We stand for reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy for every human. With that, we will be donating $3000 to the National Network Of Abortion Funds with the release of “RECOVER”. Abortion is healthcare.”

We absolutely back rock acts who release their anger using their creative outlets as a means to bring awareness to current political issues. Well done Point North — this emerging new sound of yours is absolute fire. It's a brand new horizon for the boys, that's for sure.
