For some of you, your holiday and festive season is about to get a real shock as alternative rockers/emo lords Never Shout Never have revealed they're going to be calling it a day after their shows next month.

Frontman Chris Drew revealed the news in a series of tweets stating:

The band first broke out back in the late 2000's, around the time bands like Fall Out Boy, Paramore and My Chemical Romance were gaining huge traction across the globe, despite the fact NSN never made it to their level of popularity, they still managed to get signed to Warner Brothers Records and accumulate a mass following in Australia which was evident on their most recent tour down under back in December 2017 (our coverage here)

During the course of their careers, the band released several studio albums and EPs, touring the world and even played Soundwave Festival back in 2011, pulling decent crowds with every city they played. Things started going downhill for the guys around 2015, following the departure of lead guitarist Ian Crawford, who joined the band for just one year, and recorded their Recycled Youth, Vol. 1 album before being let go shortly after release.

From there long-term bassist Taylor Macfee left in 2016 with Drew taking on his duties whilst hiring Tof Hoglen as a keyboardist not long before. The remaining members of the band played Vans Warped Tour in 2017 (before they made their way to Australia shortly after) and fast forward through 2018 (and a couple of new releases of EPs, and sogs etc) we're at the end of their story.
