Neck Deep Dropped Two B-Sides Off The Peace And The Panic

I'll admit this loud and proud, I only became a full time fan of Neck Deep this year... I just hadn't been able to get into that new age pop punk (e.g. State Champs, Trophy Eyes etc) because I was so caught up in the world of pop punk that I grew up with like blink/Sum 41/New Found Glory back in the day that I couldn't appreciate the new bands coming out in the genre.

However, all that changes a few months back, so you can understand my excitement when Neck Deep dropped two B-Sides from their latest album The Peace and the Panic overnight and both of them are hits I tell ya.

First up is 'Beautiful Madness' which is a fast-paced bop that showcases frontman Ben Barlow's high vocal range (and now distinct sound), but you can tell why this track wasn't on the initial release. It's just that little bit left-field in comparison to the tracks that made the final cut. Take a listen and you'll see why

Next up is 'Worth It' which kicks off with a slower pace that takes us up the band jumping in and a sneaky "fuck" drop. If whiney pop punk sounds get you all kinds of moist in the morning, then this one will certainly be sending tingles up your spine as you wake up.

They're great, but they've made me want more from the band so hopefully we see some new music coming in sooner than later...
