Mötley Crüe announce soundtrack for The Dirt movie with Four New Songs!

Earlier this week the Mötley Crüe biography movie The Dirt was announced for Netflix which as fans would know, is named after their infamous autobiography of the same name which features stories and ridiculous situations the guys found themselves in during the band's early years.

Well every movie needs a good soundtrack to go with it and as expected the guys have announced a new album which will feature songs that really shape the feel of the movie, handpicked from their back catalogue and four new songs, one of which is a cover of Madonna's 'Like A Virgin'. There's also a new track called 'The Dirt' featuring rapper Machine Gun Kelly (who also plays Tommy Lee in the movie), 'Ride With The Devil' and 'Crash And Burn'.

Nikki Sixx spoke about the new songs and how they were made during The Dirt's filming revealing:

“During the filming of our movie we got excited and inspired to write new music. Getting back in the studio with Bob Rock just fueled the creative fires for us. To me, the music sounds like classic Mötley. The lyrics were written for the movie and are a reflection of our life.”

Think of this as a "Best Of" release with a couple of extras and you're not too far removed from the idea. The Dirt Soundtrack is out March 22 via Sony Music, the same day the movie will make it's way onto Netflix. The movie stars Douglas Booth as Nikki Sixx, Machine Gun Kelly as TommyLee, Iwan Rheon as Mick Mars and Daniel Webber as Vince Neil.
