Meet Sick Visor in Feel-Good Debut 'Happy Pessimistic People Person Introvert'
Throw your hands up if you shed a few tears earlier this year when Columbus embarked on their final tour? It was quite the wholesome and bittersweet experience, that's for sure. However, their spirit does live on with drummer Dan Seymour absolutely crushing it with his current band Waxflower who seem to be going from strength to strength this year. Bassist Lauren Guerrera is also making some moves in her new band, Peni Parker, who recently opened up for Between You and Me on their Australian tour.
But what came about for lead vocalist/guitarist Alex Moses? As the talented musician he is, I'm sure we would have seen something arise in no time, and it looks like that time has finally arrived.
Together with drummer Katie Lovelock, Alex is kicking off a new era with Sick Visor. The alt/rock duo are here to crash in and give you upbeat tunes of positivity while also keeping it real. That's exactly what you get when you check out their debut single. 'Happy Pessimistic People Person Introvert' is an anthem for those that are trying to balance their diverse personality in social situations. From its breezy indie/rock ambience to infectious pop melodies, the song is about embracing yourself and all your quirks, with Alex sharing:
“I wrote 'Happy Pessimistic People Person Introvert' about the weirdness of our personalities, like a Myers-Briggs test of who I really am."
Honestly, it's a big ol' tune of fun and acts as a reminder that we all deserve some relaxation and leisure in our lives. All work and no play is no good, guys. So go and give this track a spin today, then get out there and do something for you.
