Mastodon Unveil New Album Hushed And Grim with Single 'Pushing The Tides'

Our favourite metalers Mastodon are back and have an upcoming record titled Hushed And Grim coming out on October 29th. The release will be a follow-up to 2017's Emperor of Sand and their Cold Dark Place EP. To celebrate the news, the band have delighted us with brand new single 'Pushing The Tides'.

It's so exciting that Mastodon are dropping new music and there's so much pressure on 'Pushing The Tides' to meet our expectations, but luckily it surpasses them. It's got all the technical components you've dreamed about, carefully considered shared vocals, and a really nice, fast and steady pace. The production quality is noteworthy and it stands out explicitly, and even though it's something you'd expect Mastodon to focus in on, it makes all the difference. The instrumental section at the end feels like a bonus with the precision that precedes it.

Add this banger to your regular rotation, as you simply can't go wrong with 'Pushing The Tides' in your life, and get excited for the band's new album Hushed And Grim.
