Lamb of God Announce New Album "OMENS" + Drop Opening Track 'Nevermore'

Lamb of God are back with a fire in their bellies just waiting to be unleashed on their ninth studio album...

OMENS is set for release on October 7th via Nuclear Blast and according to the band it's set to be one of their angriest releases to date as frontman Dr Randy Blythe says:

 "The world is crazy and keeps changing. Omens is a reaction to the state of the world... It’s a very pissed-off record.” He pauses for emphasis. “It is extremely pissed-off.” 

The lead single dropped today titled 'Nevermore' and Dr Blythe wasn't lying, it begins with frantic riffage before he screams his way back into our lives again. He's angry, the band create a soundtrack for that anger and the end result will have you smashing your head along from start to finish. There's soft, melodic touches throughout and a sickkkk solo too, but the majority of the track finds the band on point and playing to each other's strengths.

"The inner workings of the band have never been better,” explains guitarist Mark Morton. “You can hear it in OMENS. You can see it in our performances, and if you're around us for five minutes, you can feel it."
