Killswitch Engage Return With New Song 'Unleashed' From Forthcoming New Album "Atonement"

Metalcore icons Killswitch Engage have literally unleashed their first new song in three years called 'Unleashed' which comes from their forthcoming eighth studio album Atonement which is due for release on August 16th and we cannot get enough of it. It's riffy, melodic but still packs a punch with heavy screams/yells and that signature KSE sound! Almost sounds akin to that of 'The End Of Heartache' kinda/sorta?

On the new release, frontman Jesse Leach revealed:

"Unleashed is about inner passion and rage coming up to the surface... We all have that wild within that often stays dormant until a tragic event triggers and awakens it. This song is about that awakening within. I feel we were able to capture something raw and intense on this song and I'm stoked for everyone to hear it! The new album Atonement is a reflection of perseverance and passion through the trials and suffering of our existence." 

The new album mark's the third since Leach's return and will also feature a collaboration with former vocalist Howard Jones called 'The Signal Fire' which Jesse spilt the beans about during his co-hosting duties on our Wall of Sound: Up Against the Wall podcast last year (revisit it here), revealing:

“He does a verse, I do a verse, we sing the chorus together it’s a real heavy shitkicker”
