Jona Weinhofen Officially Joins Craig Owens' D.R.U.G.S.

In what has to be one of the most interesting team-ups since The Avengers, it has just been announced that former Aussie-turned-American Citizen Jona Weinhofen (I Killed The Prom Queen, Bring Me The Horizon, Bleeding Through) has joined Craig Owens' new era of Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows aka D.R.U.G.S. and our interests are officially piqued mates!
In a video statement released across the band's social media pages, Jona joked about being a straight edge guy, joining a band called D.R.U.G.S. but mentioned Craig's demos (for the upcoming sophomore album) were what got him over the line due to their sound which is set to be "super heavy" with "just the right amount of melody and catchiness" and the riffs were "on-point".

This is massive news for the band's comeback which previously featured members Adam Russell (Story of the Year), Matt Good (From First To Last), Nick Martin (Sleeping with Sirens) and Aaron Stern (Matchbook Romance) so a supergroup isn't new territory for D.R.U.G.S. who last released their self-titled album back in 2011 before disbanding not long after when Owens returned to Chiodos in 2012.
With one new song out already ('King I Am' dropped in February last year upon Craig's return) it's exciting times to be a fan and we can't wait to see what Jona brings to the table and to see who else pops up in the post-hardcore group!
